PRAYAGRAJ, Nov. 17 -- The body of a girl was found buried in the ground in Lakhrawan village on the banks of Mansaita River in Prayagraj on Saturday evening. She had been identified as 17-year-old Sakshi Yadav of Bankat village under Soraon police station area of Prayagraj. She was living with her uncle, an army man, in New Cantonment and studying in Class 11 at GGIC Katra. After the body was identified twenty-four hours later, the police conducted a postmortem on Sunday. Police sources indicate that Sakshi was stabbed to death seven times. The postmortem report also revealed one deep stab wound on the head and six deep stab wounds on the neck. However, the viscera has been preserved after the postmortem.
