VARANASI, Feb. 17 -- Five passengers were rescued after a boat sank following a collision with another vessel in the Ganga near Tulsi Ghat on Monday afternoon. According to eyewitnesses, a group of devotees from Hyderabad and Pune had boarded a small boat near Tulsi Ghat under Bhelupur police station to cross the river for a ritual bath. Soon after, a large high-speed boat coming from Assi Ghat hit their boat. The impact threw the passengers into the river and the boat began to sink. NDRF personnel and local boatmen present nearby rushed to the spot and rescued all five passengers. They were shifted to another boat safely. The passengers were identified as Dilip, Darshana and Devyani from Hyderabad, and Rohit and Deepali from Pune....
