PRAYAGRAJ, Jan. 14 -- The 22-year-old son of a retired IAS officer was found dead at his home in a locality in Sulem Sarai on Monday evening after allegedly hanging himself. Police broke open the locked room, recovered the body, and sent it for a postmortem examination. A graduate and younger of two sons, he had married a woman after a brief courtship just two months ago. Police said preliminary inquiries indicate that domestic dispute with his wife and family, reportedly aggravated by unemployment, may have led him to take this step. The incident occurred around 5 pm when family members found no response after calling him. Peeping through a window, they saw him hanging.
