GORAKHPUR, May 7 -- Chief minister Yogi Adityanath directed officials to ensure that all eligible and needy individuals receive Ayushman cards, enabling them to access medical treatment without difficulties, officials said on Wednesday. For the second consecutive day, during the Janata Darshan held at Digvijay Nath Auditorium in the Gorakhnath Temple premises, the CM instructed authorities to fast-track issuance of Ayushman cards, proactively identify uncovered families and arrange immediate financial and medical assistance for seriously ill patients. Emphasising accountability and swift grievance redressal, he said: "No poor person should suffer for want of treatment." He directed officials to ensure urgent treatment and financial aid without procedural delays. More than 200 people attended the Janata Darshan seeking financial assistance for medical treatment. Taking note, the CM asked officials to verify whether applicants possessed Ayushman cards and ordered field-level verification to include all eligible but uncovered families under the scheme.htc...
