Lucknow, Feb. 6 -- The state government will launch "Divyangjan Rojgar Abhiyan 2.0" across all districts from February 6 to 13 to promote employment and self-employment for persons with disabilities. Organised by the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission, the campaign aims to link trained candidates with job opportunities and support self-reliance and inclusion. Minister of state (independent charge) for vocational education, skill development and entrepreneurship Kapil Dev Agarwal said persons with disabilities trained through the Mission and ITIs over the past three years will be connected with employers. Other eligible candidates at the district level can also benefit. Vacancies in industrial units and establishments will be filled during the drive, while candidates will be linked to MSMEs, District Industries and Export Promotion Centres and government self-employment schemes.
