Prayagarj, March 18 -- Police in the Sarai Inayat area of Prayagraj have solved a major jewellery theft case worth approximately Rs.70 lakh and arrested three persons, including the victim's own cousin, for the crime. All the stolen jewellery too has been recovered, said police officials. Acting on leads, the police arrested three accused-Yash Soni, a resident of Mansurabad Nawabganj; Aryas Soni, from Pura Pajawa Bamrauli; and Aditya Soni, also from Mansurabad-near the Nasirpur underpass. During the search, the stolen jewellery was recovered from their possession. An accused in an attempted murder case briefly escaped from a hospital but was swiftly recaptured by an alert police constable in Pratapgarh on Tuesday. According to police officials, the accused, identified as Ajmal alias Shahbaz, was taken to the Medical College hospital for a mandatory medical examination.
