Corrupt will not be spared: CM
Jaipur, March 18 -- Rajasthan chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma on Tuesday said his government is committed to round-the-clock public service and will not spare anyone involved in corruption, while accusing the previous Congress government of misleading people and stalling development.
Addressing a 'Rajasthan Yuva Shakti Diwas' event as part of Rajasthan Day celebrations, Sharma alleged large-scale irregularities in the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM), claiming that corruption in the scheme had led to ministers from the previous government going to jail. "Those who indulged in corruption will not be spared," he asserted. The chief minister also targeted the Congress over paper leak incidents, saying such cases were rampant during the latter's tenure but none have occurred since his government came to power. "Youth are now getting jobs with transparency," he said, adding that previous government had betrayed young aspirants.
