LUCKNOW, April 7 -- A local group called 'Citizens for Lucknow', with the support of the Lucknow University (LU), is making efforts to conserve the heritage monument of Lal Baradari. To create awareness on the crumbling structure and the need to restore it, the group will organise a heritage walk on the university campus at 7.30 am on Sunday.

Built in 1820, within what was then 'Badshah Bagh' and is now the LU campus, this building served as one of the 'pleasure palaces' of nawab Ghaziuddin Haider.
