VARANASI, Jan. 12 -- Taking a dig at the Congress for staging a protest against VB GRAMG, deputy chief minister Keshav Prasad Maurya alleged, "Whenever there is any effort to eliminate corruption from the country, the Congress always opposes it. But the BJP government has put an end to MNREGA in order to prevent a demo of corruption. The VB GRAMG Act has been passed. Earlier, there was a guarantee of work for 100 days for the workers in a year. Now, there is a guarantee of work for 125 days in a year." He said that the Congress raises issues that are of no concern to anyone. By making this an issue, Congress will sink even deeper into the abyss. He alleged that the Congress members do not want corruption to end in the country.
