"Significant cuts of Rs.53,067 crore in rural development and Rs.39,573 crore in urban development, which will impact employment and infrastructure. A Rs.3,200 crore cut in the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, locking the poor's dream of owning a home," the statement quoted her as saying. "A Rs.6,985 crore cut in the agriculture sector, while farmers are already in crisis. A Rs.50,000 crore cut in the Jal Jeevan Mission, while lives are being lost due to contaminated water-this is gross negligence," she said....
