collegium picks 5 ad hoc judges for allahabad hc
New Delhi, Feb. 4 -- The Supreme Court Collegium on Tuesday recommended the appointment of five retired judges as ad-hoc judges in the Allahabad high court for two years to tackle the pendency of cases.
The Collegium, comprising Chief Justice of India Surya Kant and justices Vikram Nath and JK Maheshwari, approved the proposal for the appointment of retired justices Mohd Faiz Alam Khan, Mohd Aslam, Syed Aftab Husain Rizvi, Renu Agarwal and Jyotsna Sharma.
