Haldwani, Feb. 20 -- An email warning of a drone bomb attack on the Uttarakhand high court triggered heightened security at the court premises in Mallital on Thursday, police said. This comes days after bomb threats disrupted proceedings at the district court in Nainital. According to police, the threat email was received on the official email address of the District Judge, warning of a drone bomb attack on both the district court and the high court in Nainital. Judicial authorities immediately alerted the police administration. Following the threat, Kumaon range IG Riddhim Agarwal and Nainital SSP Manjunath TC reached the high court premises and conducted an inspection. Anti-sabotage teams, dog squads and bomb disposal squads carried out a thorough search of the court complex and adjoining areas. Apart from regular police personnel, one company of the Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC) and an Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) team have also been stationed at the court for enhanced security. Authorities have decided that entry to the high court premises will be regulated through authorisation letters issued by the Bar Association of Nainital. Outsiders will be allowed entry only on the basis of these authorisation letters, police said....
