BHU to collaborate with Griffith University
VARANASI, Feb. 4 -- Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has joined Griffith University's ARC Centre of Excellence for Transforming Human Origins Research as a partner, securing a share of the $85 million USD awarded over seven years (2026-2032).
The BHU vice-chancellor noted the partnership strengthens the university's commitment to life sciences, genetics, and interdisciplinary research, offering students and faculty valuable opportunities in international projects. Alongside Anna University (Chennai), BHU is one of India's representatives in the Centre, which includes institutions from Australia, the UK, Europe, Asia and Africa.
