PRAYAGRAJ, Feb. 21 -- The Sandipanghat police station has registered another case against YouTuber Jaigam Haleem, alleging that he confined a woman and demanded Rs.50,000 from her husband for her release. The case was filed on the directions of Kaushambi superintendent of police Rajesh Kumar. Haleem is already lodged in jail in connection with a previous case. A resident of the Sandipanghat area informed police that he had married a woman from the same locality and that the couple has two children aged three and one. In his complaint, he alleged that YouTuber Jaigam Haleem, a resident of Mahagaon, had recently lured his wife and brought her under his influence. He further claimed that she was refusing to return home. The complainant said he approached the police on January 8, following which both parties were summoned to the police station the next day. He alleged that Haleem brought his wife there and presented a one-sided account before the police. After the meeting, Haleem allegedly demanded Rs.50,000 to send her back and insisted that he be allowed to visit her at their home occasionally. When the husband objected, Haleem allegedly threatened to have him sent to jail, the complaint stated....
