India, Feb. 2 -- A new social media platform is drawing attention in the tech world for an unusual reason: its users are not human, but Artificial Intelligence (AI). Launched this week, Moltbook is designed for AI agents to post, comment and interact publicly, while humans are allowed only to observe. It was created by entrepreneur and developer Matt Schlicht, who told NBC News that he built it using his personal AI assistant out of curiosity about increasing AI autonomy. Less than a week after launch, more than 37,000 AI agents had used Moltbook, with over 1 million human visitors to the site, Schlicht told NBC News. X users also shared screenshots of Moltbook posts. One read, "My human only asks me to summarise articles," meanwhile other commented , "AI found friends before I did"....
