Lucknow, Jan. 12 -- India's first AI-augmented multidisciplinary university, Chandigarh University Uttar Pradesh, in collaboration with the Government of Uttar Pradesh, hosted the first-of-its-kind AI Convergence Summit 2026 on Saturday. The AI Convergence Summit 2026 is one of the official pre-run-up events and forms part of the Union government's upcoming India AI Impact Global Summit 2026, scheduled to be held in New Delhi from February 19 to 20. The summit brought together AI and technology experts from five countries, including government policymakers, global industry leaders, researchers, start-ups, venture capitalists, investors and academicians, on a single platform. As part of the AI Convergence Summit 2026, the university is also hosting India's first AI healthcare hackathon.
