Prayagraj, Jan. 30 -- A joint team of the Government Railway Police (GRP) and Railway Protection Force (RPF) arrested five youths and seized 602 turtles from a train at Prayagraj Junction on Wednesday. The arrests were made during a checking drive on the Howrah-Jodhpur Express. GRP inspector AK Singh and RPF inspector Amit Meena said the accused were carrying turtles in bags and sacks in the general coach. The arrested men were identified as Arun Kumar, Ravi, Anish Kumar, Jitendra and Amir Khan, all residents of Hanuman Ganj in Sultanpur. According to the GRP, the turtles are worth over Rs.1 crore in the domestic market, while their international value is estimated at Rs.10 crore....
