GORAKHPUR, Jan. 16 -- A 10-year-old boy was killed after being electrocuted while flying a kite in Tiha Muhammadpur village under the Barhalganj police station area on Thursday morning. The deceased, identified as Anil Gaur, was a class 3 student. Anil was electrocuted while trying to retrieve his kite from a tree near an 11,000-volt high-tension line. Police said, "We are conducting a thorough investigation into the incident. The body has been sent for postmortem, and the electricity department has been informed to examine the safety measures around the high-tension lines."...
