Rudrapur, March 17 -- A 10-year-old boy died after a tree fell on him in Ramnagar during a storm early on Monday, while eight people were injured after a wall collapsed in Haldwani. "A police team rushed to the spot in the morning and recovered the body of the boy. The body was handed over to his relatives after post-mortem," said Sushil Kumar, inspector at Ramnagar police station. According to officials, a storm struck parts of Nainital and Udham Singh Nagar districts around 1 am on Monday. In Ringora village of Ramnagar, a tree fell on a house, resulting in the death of the boy, identified as Kunal Upadhayaya. In another incident, eight people were injured after a wall of a school collapsed due to the storm in Haldwani on Monday morning.
