LUCKNOW, Feb. 14 -- A day after Samajwadi Party spokesperson Manoj Yadav's wife lodged a report with Gomti Nagar Extension police station claiming that her husband had gone missing, police on Friday traced his location to Barabanki and confirmed that the Safdarganj police had arrested him in connection with a case the details of which were not available. Sudhir Awasthi, SHO, Gomti Nagar Extension police station said police acted swiftly on the family's complaint. With the help of mobile surveillance, police traced his last location to Barabanki district. Lucknow police then contacted Barabanki police. During the inquiry, officials found that Manoj Yadav was in custody in a case registered at Safdarganj police station. Prabha Yadav, a resident of a residential apartment under Gomti Nagar Extension police limits, approached the police when her husband failed to return home.
