'Members will get ample time to speak'
LUCKNOW, Feb. 9 -- Uttar Pradesh assembly speaker Satish Mahana on Sunday said members willing to speak will be given ample time during the budget session beginning Monday.
"If need be, we will run the session even till 8 pm, so that members can keep their views," Mahana told the media after the all party and business advisory committee meeting. Uttar Pradesh finance minister Suresh Khanna and members from various parties, including the Congress and the Samajwadi Party, were present in the meeting
"The members sought time to speak and I have said I will give enough time to them to speak. The government proposes business that forms the base to run the session and we have the schedule for the next 10-days," Mahana added. "Assembly is for debate.
