Dharamshala, Jan. 9 -- Three youths were killed in Chamba district of Himachal after the vehicle they were travelling in veered off the road and plunged into a deep gorge, police said on Thursday. The mishap occurred on Wednesday evening at Gunu Nullah on the Chamba-Tissa road. The deceased youths were travelling in a Mahindra Bolero Camper. They have been identified as Taro Chand, 22, a resident of Dawari village (driver); Than Singh, alias Sunny, 19, from Sumra; and Balo, 17, who hailed from Pundrorhi in the Churah subdivision of Chamba district. Police said the mishap occurred around 5 pm, when the vehicle plunged into a 300-feet-gorge. There were three occupants in the vehicle. While one of them died on the spot, the other two youths sustained serious injuries. They were rushed to a hospital for treatment, where they later succumbed to their injuries. Chamba superintendent of police (SP) Vijay Kumar Saklani said that a case has been registered under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, and the police have initiated an investigation to ascertain the exact cause of the accident....
