Jammu, Jan. 17 -- Security forces on Friday busted two terrorist hideouts during a search operation in the forest area near Kamad Nallah in Billawar tehsil of Kathua district, said officials. With this, a total of three terror hideouts have been busted in Billawar since January 7. A senior police officer said that hideout was detected by a team of the Special Operations Group (SOG) during a routine search operation. On January 7, security forces had detected a hideout in Kamadh Nallah area from where two empties of M4 carbine, a plastic box containing Desi ghee, a packet containing almonds, hand gloves, a cap, a blanket, a tarpaulin sheet and other items were recovered. "On Friday, two more terrorist hideouts were busted by the joint teams in Kalikhad and Kalaban areas of Billawar," said a police officer. He informed that a cooking gas cylinder, edible oil, charger wire, hand gloves, cooking and eating utensils, torch and other miscellaneous items were recovered.
