Dharamshala, Oct. 22 -- The Himachal Pradesh government has approved Rs.5.34 crore for the construction of a modern de-addiction and rehabilitation centre at Kotla-Barog in Sirmaur district, chief minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Tuesday. He added that more funds would be provided, if required. Chairing a review meeting with officials of the social justice and empowerment department and others, he directed thedeputy commissioners of Solan and Sirmaur to transfer the land of the animal husbandry department to the social justice and empowerment department for the purpose. The CM informed that the centre would have a capacity of 100 beds and would also be equipped with facilities like library, gymnasium, etc. In another meeting regarding celebration of 350th Shaheedi Diwas of Guru Tegh Bahadur, to be organised at the Ridge and Padamdev complex in Shimla on November 1 and 2, chief minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu directed the district administration to ensure proper arrangements for the event....
