Jammu, Jan. 13 -- Speaker of the Jammu and Kashmir legislative assembly, Abdul Rahim Rather, on Monday issued provisional calendar for the upcoming budget session beginning February 2 with LG's address. The budget session will conclude on April 4. There will be a break of 35 days from February 19 to March 26 in view of holy month of Ramzan. LG's address will be followed by discussion on the motion of thanks, with a reply scheduled for February 5. The annual financial statement (Budget) for the fiscal year 2026-27, along with the supplementary statement of expenditure for 2025-26 will be presented on February 6.
