Dharamshala, Feb. 2 -- The India Meteorological Department (Shimla unit) has stated that there is a low to moderate probability (35-55%) that most parts of Himachal are likely to receive below-normal rainfall in February. There is a low probability (30-40%) that some parts of the Kinnaur and Lahaul-Spiti districts may receive normal rainfall this month. Light to moderate rain and snowfall was recorded in the state on Sunday. The weather office has predicted light to moderate rain and snowfall at a few places in the state on February 2 and 3 and at isolated places in higher reaches on February 6.
