Srinagar, May 4 -- Awami Ittehad Party (AIP) on Sunday said that it will approach the high court to seek permission for Baramulla Member of Parliament Engineer Rashid to stay with his father in Delhi. Rashid's father was shifted from SMHS Hospital, Srinagar to AIIMS, Delhi on Sunday afternoon. Party's chief spokesperson Inam Un Nabi said that court-imposed restrictions limiting the party chief Er Rashid's movement strictly between his Jawahir Nagar residence and SMHS Hospital made it impossible for him to travel further, forcing him to remain behind when his presence was most needed. Inam Un Nabi said the party will approach the HC on Monday, seeking permission for the MP to stay with his father in Delhi.
