India, April 26 -- Singer Akasa Singh, known for chartbusters like Naagin and Kheech Meri Photo, is reportedly set to tie the knot by the end of this year. HT has exclusively learnt from a close friend of her that the singer has started preparing for the wedding. "The groom is a businessman settled in the USA. The two have been dating for a few years now," shares the friend, adding, "They are planning to have a destination wedding in Uttarakhand." Singh has started preparing for the wedding which is expected to happen in November or December this year. She was spotted going for lehenga trials and shopping for her wedding trousseau in Mumbai and other cities. Recently, the 32-year-old was also seen taking multiple trips to Uttarakhand to finalise the venue. Akasa is being tight-lipped about the whole thing. She wants to keep it completely private until the wedding rituals are completed and an official announcement is made.
