Jaipur, Feb. 5 -- Gram Utthan Camps, aimed at ensuring last-mile delivery of welfare schemes in rural areas, have resolved more than 7.7 million public grievances and service requests on the spot since their launch on January 23, officials said.
Organised across every girdawar circle in the state, the camps provide multiple government services under one roof. This enables farmers, livestock rearers, women and labourers to access schemes directly, reducing the gap between administration and citizens.
Officials said 1,512 camps have been organised so far, drawing participation from more than 1,391,000 people, including around 917,000 men and 412,000 women. Services from about 13 departments are being delivered at each camp, reducing the need for villagers to visit government offices repeatedly, they added.
More than 98,299 soil health cards and 55,886 Swamitva ownership cards have been distributed to farmers. Under the Mangla Pashu Yojana, 92,000 livestock rearers have been registered, while over 511,000 animals have received primary treatment and 77,000 animals have been vaccinated, officials added....
