Barmer, May 12 -- A Pocso case has been registered against a 23-year-old tuition teacher for allegedly raping a girl three years ago and blackmailing her in Barmer district, police said on Monday. According to the complaint filed by the 17-year-old girl's mother, the tuition teacher raped the girl when she was in Class 10 and later blackmailed her with a video he filmed of the crime and demanded Rs.15 lakh, SHO Devichand Dhaka said, adding that the girl allegedly handed over jewellery from her home to the accused under duress. The accused teacher married the victim's elder sister (19) in February this year. The couple has filed a protection petition in the high court. During investigation, the elder sister told police that the case, registered on May 9, against her husband was filed by the family to exert pressure on the couple, police said....
