Jaipur, April 15 -- Sawai Madhopur superintendent of police Jyeshtha Maitreyi has introduced a policy allowing police personnel to take casual leave on special occasions such as their own birthdays and those of their family members. According to the order issued by the superintendent of police, any police personnel applying for leave on the birthdays of their spouse, children, or parents will be granted leave as a matter of priority. The move recognises that police personnel often miss important family moments due to hectic schedules, leading to stress and emotional disconnect. Officials believe that this new arrangement will boost morale and help personnel perform duties with greater energy and positivity. The benefit extends across ranks-from constables to assistant sub-inspectors-and includes fourth-grade employees in the police department, ensuring the policy reaches grassroots levels. The initiative by superintendent Maitreyi has garnered appreciation on social media and among the public.htc...
