Jaipur, April 24 -- The Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation is set to introduce dedicated sports facility centres in industrial areas. These zones will soon offer spaces to engage in sports and fitness, an official release said. Under the plan, RIICO will provide land in "saturated" industrial areas for the development of sports infrastructure. So far, land has been identified in 17 areas. In Jaipur, locations include Bagru Chitroli, Apparel Park, and Sitapura Phase III. Each identified location will have plots ranging from 1,000 to 3,000 square metres earmarked for sports facilities. These will be allotted on a rental model, encouraging private participation in developing and operating them.
