Infant, uncle killed in Jhunjhunu accident
Bharatpur/Jhunjhunu, Dec. 7 -- A seven-day-old girl and her uncle died while her parents sustained critical injuries after their car overturned and collided with a truck on Saturday in Rajasthan's Jhunjhunu, police said.
According to police, the accident took place on Sikar-Jhunjhunu highway under Mukundgarh police station limits. The car reportedly overturned due to a burst tyre and crossed the divider and collided with a truck on the wrong side.
Tara Chand, Mukundgarh police station SHO said, "The family's car overturned and collided with a truck after crossing the divider.In the accident, a couple got injured while their newborn daughter and family member died."
On being informed, police reached the spot and rushed all injured to Nawalgarh hospital where the child, Nevish, and her uncle Mohammed Maksood, 45, were declared dead.
Her father Ikramuddin Khan, 38 and mother Kherunisha, 35, were referred to Sikar district hospital, police said.
According to police, Kherunisha delivered the girl child in Jaipur and was living with her family members. After delivery, she along with her husband and husband's elder brother were returning by car to village Tamkor in Jhunjhunu from Jaipur, police said. The bodies of the decease were handed over to family members after post-mortem examination, police said....
