If it aligns, why not? Krrish child actor on a possible return to acting

s Krrish turns 20 this year, the film that redefined the superhero genre in Bollywood continues to evoke nostalgia, including for the child actor who played the younger version of its lead star, Hrithik Roshan. Two decades later, Dr Mickey D Dhamejani is an eye surgeon, a fact that still surprises many of his patients. "One out of every two consultations ends with, 'I've seen you somewhere'," Dhamejani says, adding ,"People usually mention it at the end, once they're happy with the consultation."
At a crucial crossroads, he says it was Krrish director Rakesh Roshan who advised him to complete his studies. Though he never returned to acting full-time, the shift has kept him connected to the film industry in unexpected ways: "I've changed industries completely, but people from showbiz, including past directors, now come to me as patients."
With Krrish 4 reportedly in the pipeline, would he consider acting again? The Mumbai-based eye surgeon doesn't rule it out: "If something aligns with my values and is a win-win, why not?"
A recent reunion with Hrithik Roshan brought the journey full circle. "He was pretty shocked," Dhamejani recalls. "He said, 'Oh my God!' and even joked about coming in for an eye check-up."...
