Jaipur, March 30 -- Chief minister Bhajanlal Sharma on Sunday underscored the importance of physical and mental well-being, saying that a healthy body and mind are the foundation of a happy life, especially for a young nation like India. Addressing participants at a half marathon, the CM said India's strength lies in its youth, and maintaining their health is essential for sustained growth. "When the youth progress, society and the nation move forward," he said, urging young people to channel their energy in the right direction and contribute to the development of the state and the country while achieving their personal goals. Highlighting government efforts, Sharma said the state has worked over the past two-and-a-half years to secure the future of the youth by creating employment opportunities in both public and private sectors, as well as promoting self-employment. He added that policies and schemes of both the Centre and the state are focused on youth welfare, and called upon young people to not only benefit from them but also help extend these benefits to the last mile. The chief minister flagged off the marathon and also planted a sapling, giving a message of environmental conservation.htc...
