JODHPUR, Jan. 12 -- The Rajasthan high court has declared the rule setting the minimum age at 21 years for recruitment to contractual posts of Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) and Female Health Worker as unconstitutional. The court said that the condition of a minimum age of 18 years for regular recruitment and 21 years for contractual recruitment for the same post is arbitrary and discriminatory. A division bench of justices Pushpendra Singh Bhati and Anuroop Singhi were hearing several petitions together on Friday.
