Jaipur, Feb. 21 -- State industries minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore has said the state government has significantly simplified the land allotment and land-use conversion process to ensure easier access to land for small and medium entrepreneurs.
Rathore said that the earlier 99-year lease provision has been amended to a 33-year lease model to make allotments more flexible and accessible.
In view of future industrial requirements, the state has also created a 10,000-acre land bank. Additionally, underdeveloped land is being allotted as per investors' requirements to enable faster commencement of industrial activities.
The minister said that over the past two years, the state government has implemented 13 new policies and schemes covering exports, MSMEs, handicrafts, handloom and balanced regional development.
These include policies on export promotion, One District One Product (ODOP), MSME growth, integrated cluster development and logistics.
Rathore emphasized that providing the best ease of doing business experience to industries remains the government's top priority. Due to sustained efforts in simplifying investment procedures, Rajasthan now ranks among the leading states in investment facilitation, he said.
The Rajasthan Single Window Clearance System has been further strengthened, and through an integrated portal, investors are currently being provided paperless approvals across 180 services, he said.htc...
