Jaipur, Feb. 24 -- Rajasthan education department on Monday directed all the government and private schools to celebrate Maharana Pratap's coronation day on February 28. In an order issued by the Directorate of Secondary Education, Bikaner, officials said, "Maharana Pratap's coronation day will be marked on February 28 to make students aware about his sacrifice. All the government and private schools across the state are hereby directed to organise it." The department also laid out a guidelines for the functions that will be organised in the schools. The department directed to perform patriotic songs in the schools while also organising competitions on poster painting, essay writing, quiz, etc. "The programme must be held without any disturbance to the ongoing board examinations in Class V, VIII, X, and XII. Rest of the classes may participate in the celebration. The functions should be organised i such way that the examinees or the teachers appointed for the supervising duty are not disturbed," the order read....
