Cong MLA flags SI exam irregularities
Jaipur, Feb. 14 -- During Zero Hour in the state assembly, Congress MLA Manish Yadav raised concerns over alleged irregularities in the proposed SI recruitment process.
Yadav criticised the decision to conduct the exam in two shifts on April 5-6, 2026, arguing that varying difficulty levels lead to controversial normalisation, which he termed non-transparent and unfair. He noted past recruitment controversies and questioned the continued use of interviews in Group-B posts, calling them subjective. He urged the government to hold a single-shift exam, scrap normalisation, adopt a "one exam-one paper" system, and remove interviews, proposing that recruitment be based solely on written tests, physical efficiency and a transparent merit-based selection process....
