BSF issues new combat uniform for its soldiers
Barmer/Jaisalmer, June 18 -- The Border Security Force (BSF) has rolled out new combat uniform having digital camouflage pattern for its soldiers stationed in the harsh desert terrain of Rajasthan and other border areas, an official said on Tuesday.
DIG North Sector BSF, Yogendra Singh Rathore, said: "The new uniforms have been exclusively designed and manufactured by the BSF, and will not be available for commercial sale anywhere. This ensures that only authentic BSF personnel wear the uniform, maintaining the dignity and security of the force and preventing any misuse or impersonation."
He further said that the new uniform has already been issued. "The new uniform sports a digital camouflage pattern similar to that used by the Army and CRPF. It is designed to keep soldiers comfortable even in the extreme heat of the desert," he said....
