Bharatpur/Deeg, April 29 -- A man and his brother died while his wife sustained injuries after they jumped into a well amid a family dispute in Deeg district, police said on Tuesday. The incident took place in Badipur village under Jurahara police station late on Monday. Trainee state police officer Naresh Kumar said the dispute arose between a 25-year-old man and his wife, after which she allegedly jumped into a nearby well. The man and his 21-year-old younger brother also jumped in to rescue her but became stuck in the swampy water filling the well. "All three were pulled out and rushed to Jurahara Community Health Centre, where the brothers were declared dead by doctors," said Kumar. The woman is undergoing treatment at the same facility.
