India, Jan. 23 -- ASTRO band member Cha Eun-Woo has responded to reports alleging tax evasion worth over KRW 20 billion (around Rs.124 crore). Korean media reported that the 28-year-old actor-singer's name was among the largest additional tax assessments imposed on a celebrity, following an audit conducted before he began military service last July. Through his agency Fantagio, Eun-Woo has rejected the National Tax Service's decision. Reportedly, his team is awaiting the outcome of their pre-assessment request. Fantagio said it is currently reviewing details and will issue an official statement soon. According to reports,a corporation set up by his mother was placed between Fantagio and the star, with his earnings reportedly split between Fantagio, the firm, and himself. His agency has issued an official statement, saying, "...We plan to actively provide explanations through lawful procedures regarding issues related to the interpretation and application of the law...
