3 kashmiri men detained in kota during area domination ops
Jaipur, Feb. 2 -- Three men from Kashmir were detained in Kota on Saturday after they failed to produce relevant documents to support their stated purpose of collecting donations to build a madrasa in their village in Baramulla district, police said on Sunday, adding that an Intelligence Bureau (IB) team arrived at the city on Sunday to question the men.
According to Ramkishan Godara, inspector at Kota's Bhimganjmandi police station, "All of the three are nearly 25 years of age. They are from Baramulla in Jammu and Kashmir and were staying at a hotel in Bhimganjmandi for the past three to four days."
Police conducted a series of patrols in the area on Saturday as part of an area domination campaign, as a part of which the men were detained. "When we questioned them, they claimed that they arrived in Kota to collect some donations from the people to set up a madrasa in their village in Baramulla. However, they failed to produce any document or registration certificates for the madrasa raising suspicion," claimed the inspector, adding that they also allegedly failed to submit their Aadhar cards to the hotel management while checking in.
So far, no FIR has been lodged against the men, said the inspector. "An IB team has arrived to question them and we will be taking the appropriate legal action based on the interrogation," he added....
