Jaipur, April 19 -- Twenty-four trainees from the 2021 sub-inspector (SI) batch have cleared the Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS)-2024 exam. The results, published by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) on Saturday, highlight the success of candidates whose SI selection faced scrutiny and cancellation. According to the RPSC, "The exam was conducted on June 18, 2025. On September 2, 2024, the RPSC notified the vacancies for 733 posts against which 6 lakh people applied for the post. Meanwhile, on February 17, 2025, the RPSC increased the intakes up to 1096 posts- of which 428 are for state service and 668 are for subordinate posts in various state service." One of the successful candidates, Priyanka Chaudhary, said, "I ranked 585 in the exam. I am now relieved. Today, I could prove that I was an honest candidate. It was a difficult time when the SI-2021 was put under the SOG's lens and was eventually cancelled later. Everybody was saying that all of us who qualified the exam attempted fraud. Now we all are relieved. We have proven our honesty by passing an even difficult exam than the SI-2021 exam." The candidates have urged the government not to cancel the SI-2021 exam, warning it would ruin the futures of honest aspirants. Rashid Khilji, another candidate who ranked ninth in RAS-2024, said, "After the West Bengal school service commission's teacher recruitment exam was cancelled, it has been a norm that all the selected candidates will be punished for the failure of a system. How does it make sense? A system should be made in a way that only the culprits get punished, not the innocent ones. It is the duty of the government and the court to save the lives and the jobs of several innocent candidates," said...
