Barmer, Jan. 7 -- A 23-year-old man, allegedly harassed by prolonged blackmailing, hanged himself in a deserted house in Mudhon ki Dhani under the Nagana police station area. Before taking the extreme step, the man recorded a 44-second video in which he accused his friend and two more of extorting money from him. The deceased worked for a private company. According to police, he left his home on Monday night and went to Mudhon ki Dhani village, where he hanged himself. The body was discovered on Tuesday morning by passers-by, who informed local representatives. Police arrived at the spot, recovered the body, and shifted it to the mortuary of Barmer Hospital for post-mortem.
