We have accelerated the state's economy. Inspired by the vision of Narendra Modi and the principle of Antyodaya, our government is committed to delivering development to the last person in the queue.
Under the "Viksit Rajasthan @ 2047" vision, the state government has set an ambitious economic roadmap, aiming to expand Rajasthan's economy to $350 billion by 2029, $800 billion by 2035, $1.6 trillion by 2040, and $4.3 trillion by 2047.
Economic indicators, the government said, are already showing positive momentum. Rajasthan's Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) is estimated at around Rs 17.04 lakh crore in 2024-25, with a growth rate of 12.02%, significantly higher than the national average of 9.8%.
Per capita income has also registered a substantial rise, increasing from Rs.1,15,534 in 2019-20 to Rs.1,85,053 in 2024-25. It is projected to cross Rs.2 lakh in 2025-26, reflecting improving income levels and overall economic progress in the state.
Our government is consistently working to position Rajasthan as a leading investment destination. Through the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit, investment agreements worth approximately Rs.35 lakh crore have been signed, with ground-breaking already initiated for projects exceeding Rs.8 lakh crore.
We have implemented several key policies, including the Rajasthan Investment Promotion Scheme, MSME Policy, Export Promotion Policy, Textile and Apparel Policy, Logistics Policy, Integrated Clean Energy Policy, Civil Aviation Policy, Data Center Policy, and AI/ML Policy 2026. The "One District One Product" initiative is also generating employment at the local level.
We are prioritizing projects such as the Ram Jal Setu Link Project, Yamuna Water Agreement, Indira Gandhi Canal, Ganganahar, and Dewas Project. The Ram Jal Setu Link Project alone aims to provide drinking water to nearly three crore people across 17 districts and irrigation facilities to about four lakh hectares of land.
We have made significant progress in the energy sector, adding 8,261 MW of additional capacity. Currently, farmers in 22 districts are receiving daytime electricity, and we aim to extend this across the entire state by 2027.
We have strictly curbed incidents of paper leak and introduced transparent recruitment processes. So far, over 1.25 lakh government jobs have been filled, while recruitment for another 1.35 lakh posts is underway. A recruitment calendar for 1.25 lakh posts has been released for 2026. Additionally, the private sector is generating employment for lakhs of youth.
Rajasthan has secured first place in 11 welfare schemes nationwide, second place in five schemes, and third place in nine national programs.
We are making efforts to empower women economically through schemes like Lado Protsahan Yojana, Lakhpati Didi, and Solar Didi, along with taking effective steps to enhance their safety.
Our government inherited a system marked by disorder, and a lack of trust. During the previous Congress regime, issues like paper leaks, unemployment, and administrative laxity had jeopardised the future of the youth. From the very beginning, we prioritized transparency, good governance, and a result-oriented work culture, the impact of which is now visible across sectors....
