'baharupi' has been made tonk mla: bjp leader attacks pilot
Jaipur, April 28 -- BJP's state in-charge Radha Mohan Das Agrawal launched a scathing attack on the senior Congress leader Sachin Pilot by calling him a 'Bahuprupi'. "A bahurupi (Chameleon) has been made the MLA in Tonk. He is showing some fake love with his rivals but is also opening fronts against him. His one foot is at Congress and another is somewhere that nobody knows. He is not even from Tonk. Why was he made an MLA here? You have been fooled."
Meanwhile, the state party chief Madan Rathore, said that there are some 'good people' in the Congress who do not have any say in the party's functioning. "There are some good people. I am not speaking about the entire party, but there are a few good individuals in that group. Congress leader Shashi Tharoor has praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Anand Sharma has also appreciated the arrangements related to petrol and diesel. Manish Tewari has also spoken in praise," Rathore said.
Claiming that that such leaders are not influential within the party, he asked, "If they have no say, then what is the point of being in such a group?"
Commenting on the development, former CM Ashok Gehlot said, "His (Pilot) both feet are at Congress only. He was misled. Now he has understood the outcome of such mistakes. So, he will never repeat it. I hope that he will never leave us and we will work together unitedly."
HT reached out to Sachin Pilot for a comment but did not get a response....
