Gurugram, Feb. 6 -- The Gurugram police on Wednesday demolished an encroachment on a government land in Sector 37 (phase IV) by an alleged habitual criminal, officials said. Local police team, district town and country planner (DTP) nodal officer R.S. Bhatt and Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC) officials jointly razed a temporary makeshift parking of 81,000 square feet, built with tin sheets, on the HSIIDC's plot 50, said officials. Police said the parking was undertaken by a history-sheeter named Ricky (single name), 29, a resident of Khandsa in sector 37. "He has multiple cases registered against him at different city police stations," said Sandeep Turan, public relations officer of Gurugram police.
