CAQM removes restrictions under Grap stage-2 in Delhi
New Delhi, Feb. 19 -- Patchy showers, overcast skies and gusty winds brought temporary relief to Delhi on Wednesday, with the maximum dropping to 21.1degC from 30.9degC a day earlier, according to the India Meteorological Department. The minimum was at 15.8degC - compared to 12.4degC on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the air quality index stood at 214 (poor) at 4pm on Wednesday, as per the Central Pollution Control Board's daily national bulletin.
The Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) lifted stage-2 Graded Response Action Plan (Grap) curbs, saying, "as per the dynamic model and forecasts. the average AQI of Delhi is likely to remain in 'poor' to 'moderate' category." Stage-1 measures remain.
