Gurugram, Feb. 24 -- The Air Force School at Sector 14, Gurugram, was evacuated as a precautionary measure after hoax bomb threat e-mails were received at three schools in Delhi, including Army Public School Delhi Cantonment and Air Force Bal Bharti School, on Monday, police said. Sandeep Turan, public relations officer of Gurugram police, said the school had not received any threat e-mails. "However, after information was received about the threat e-mails in Delhi, the school authorities started the evacuation process and sent all the students home," he said. "Senior officers, including ACP (Old) Sukhbir Singh, along with the bomb detection and disposal squad, rushed to the spot as a precautionary measure even though no formal complaint was received from the school authorities," he said. Chander Bhan, station house officer (SHO) of Sector 14 police station, said that they reached the school by 8am and followed all standard operating procedures.
